His dam, SS ALEXANDREA, is by SS ALEXANDER (who is by SPARK), and out of SS ALEGRA (who is also by SPARK and happens to be one of our cherished mares). The interesting thing about SS ATILGAN is that even though he traces back to the NAZEER sire line through some of the world's greatest horses, such as RUMINAJA ALI, and MORAFIC, he demonstrates the WITRAZ phenotype as a result of selective breeding through SPARK, ALI JAMAAL, and FADJUR, which all trace back to WITRAZ. If you consider the fact he traces back to the ARFA (by WITRAZ) tail female line, he becomes an irreplaceable part of our breeding program for future considerations.
