SS Miami Vice (Spark x Florida by *Elkin out of *Fantazja) was a tall, elegant Spark son that we used both as a breeding sire and a riding horse. He was easily 15.2H and never wore shoes. Many people asked if he were an Andalusian due to his upright, swan-like neck, small tight ears, large nostrils, large hoofs and joints, high-set tail, beautiful dapple grey color, and ethereal, bold movement. Chera started him under saddle at age two and went on to compete with him successfully in open dressage shows, where he developed his own fan club, jumping 4' fences, and hunter pleasure classes. He was also a very dependable mountain horse, used on occasion to round up stray horses from the adjacent National Forest. He was starting bridleless and liberty work with Chera, which they demonstrated at stallion parades 1997-1999. Unfortunately, Miami passed away in 2004 and we miss him dearly. We still have some of his get here at the ranch and a few of his daughters have joined other breeding programs throughout the country.
