Sabankaya wins 3-3 Championships with its new AJMAN MONISCIONE colt, CALYPSO OS! Click here to read more about CALYPSO OS!Just 40 miles south of the Oregon border, Sabankaya Select resides in Northern California at the base of the majestic snow-capped Mount Shasta. There are thousands of acres of National Forest adjoining the property and even the Pacific Crest Trail (the passage way that connects Mexico to Canada without a single fenceline interfering) is right in our backyard. The location of the ranch is optimum for raising livestock of all types because of its high elevation of 2,600 to 6,500 feet above sea level. Scientists have known for centuries that high elevations, especially when combined with dry climates, produce very hard, dense bone and healthy circulatory systems, which are critical for horses intended for racing or other physically demanding disciplines. In addition to the natural environment, Sabankaya Select uses its 726+ acre farm strategically in the way that it raises and cares for its horses. Foals are allowed to run through the meadows, hop over builders, and swim through its lakes, ponds, and creeks.
